  • Dosage and administration
    For the body:
Face: 2-3 drops on wet hands, apply to wet face.
Body: A small amount on a sponge and apply.
Hair: 1/2 tablespoon in your hand (or dilute 1/2 tablespoon in 1/2 cup of water) and apply to wet hair (we suggest applying an acidic solution – e.g., apple cider vinegar diluted in water – and rinsing afterwards).
Bath: Depends on the amount of water, but about 2 tablespoons for a medium-sized bathtub (it does not lather, but it cleans).
Shaving: Face (shaving) – 10 drops; Underarms – 3 drops; Legs – 1/2 teaspoon. Place on wet hands, lather, and then apply to the area to be shaved.
Teeth: 1 drop on your toothbrush (yes, it tastes like soap).
Foot bath: 1 ½ teaspoons in a small bowl of hot water.
Relieving congestion: 1 tablespoon of eucalyptus liquid soap in a bowl of hot water. Cover your head and the bowl with a towel and inhale.
    For the home:
Laundry (machine): 1/3 – 1/2 cup for a full load. Add ½ cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle.
Mopping floors: 1/2 cup of soap for about 11 litres of hot water.
All-purpose cleaner: Mix ¼ cup with about 1 litre of water in a spray bottle. Add ¼ teaspoon of tea tree essential oil (optional).
Glass/Windows: Mix 1 tablespoon with about 1 litre of water in a spray bottle. Then use sparkling water or a mix of equal parts water and vinegar.
Toilet cleaning: Dilute in water at a 1:4 ratio. Add ¼ teaspoon of tea tree essential oil.
    Other uses:
Washing fruits and vegetables: Mix about ¼ teaspoon in a bowl of water. Soak the fruits/vegetables and swirl. Rinse with clean water.
Dog bath: The amount varies greatly depending on size, coat type, and level of dirtiness. Wet the coat well and apply as needed.
Plant spray (to repel insects): 1 tablespoon in about 1 litre of water. If desired, add cayenne pepper or cinnamon.
Ant spray: ¼ cup of tea tree liquid soap in about 1 litre of water. This mixture should not be applied directly to plants.
Note: This list is a quick guide with dilution suggestions for our Liquid Soaps, but for heavy soiling or very hard water, you may need to use larger amounts of Liquid Soap than recommended. Please note that if you dilute the product, you will also be diluting the preservative (vitamin E), so you should use it within a few weeks.
