A blend of plant-based protein from peas and cocoa, and Naticol® fish collagen peptides, which helps preserve and improve muscle mass and bone maintenance under normal conditions. Each 40g serving provides 23g of protein, 5g of collagen, and 3.2g of BCAAs.
Protein and collagen are necessary for the body
Proteins provide the body with amino acids. These amino acids are classified as essential and non-essential. Essential amino acids are those the body cannot produce and must obtain from food.
Combining various types of plant-based proteins increases the biological value of the resulting blend, as pea and cocoa proteins are very rich in non-essential amino acids. Furthermore, collagen proteins are very rich in non-essential amino acids, such as glycine, proline, glutamic acid, hydroxyproline, arginine, and alanine.
In the body, collagen is present in the skin, bones, and joints. Naticol® collagen comes from fish skin and scales. Because it's hydrolyzed, it has a low molecular weight, facilitating its absorption.
Cocoa flavanols help maintain blood vessel elasticity. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200mg of cocoa flavanols. 40g of this product provides over 1000mg of cocoa flavanols.
Proteins help to preserve and increase muscle mass and maintain bones under normal conditions.
