Description

Metabolism 120cap - Ecogenetics

Nutrigenomic Metabolism, designed by nutrigenomics experts, is scientifically designed to support a healthy metabolism, maintain healthy blood sugar levels, as well as decrease cravings for sweets and fat absorption.

All this through signaling (through response kinases) carried out to the main genes involved and susceptible to determining profound metabolic changes.

This formula combines 14 highly effective, deeply studied nutrigenomics to provide healthcare professionals with a valuable tool to, in conjunction with a genetically appropriate diet and regular exercise, maintain, promote or restore:

- Healthy blood sugar levels;
- Normal insulin secretion and sensitivity;
- Normal secretion and sensitivity to leptin (appetite suppressant hormone); - Healthy regulation of ghrelin (hormone responsible for the feeling of hunger);
- A healthy metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins.

Constituent Information

Alpha lipoic acid: Promotes cellular health and energy production, improves the antioxidant function of vitamins C and E.
Cinnamon: Strengthens the immune system during the changing seasons.
Milk thistle: A very common plant in the Mediterranean, it has been widely used for nutritional liver support for over 2,000 years. Dried milk thistle flower seeds are rich in silymarin, a complex of flavonolignans: silybin, silydianin, and silychristin. Silymarin is responsible for the powerful protective and regenerative activity of the liver. The liver is the body's primary detoxification organ, responsible for deactivating toxins such as ethanol, environmental poisons, pesticides, and certain pharmaceuticals. In addition to its detoxifying function, the liver plays an essential role in the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids, cholesterol synthesis, bile secretion, and the storage of fat-soluble vitamins. When damaged or diseased, the liver's ability to eliminate toxins and perform its numerous other functions can be severely impaired. Silymarin has been shown to support and improve normal, healthy liver function through three primary actions. By binding to the cell's outer membrane, silymarin prevents harmful toxins from entering the cell. Silymarin protects the liver as an important component of the liver's antioxidant defense. However, the liver generates toxic free radicals and reactive oxygen species (e.g., peroxides) as a result of its normal metabolism and detoxification functions. Furthermore, silymarin increases levels of glutathione and superoxide dismutase, two primary antioxidants in the liver. It also stimulates damaged liver cells to regenerate. Coleus forskohlii extract: Aids weight loss by breaking down tissue, prevents fat formation in tissues, and stimulates metabolism.

Garcinia cambogia: Aids weight loss by reducing appetite. Reduces the body's ability to store fat in tissues.
Gymnema: Regulates glucose and promotes heart function.
L-Carnitine: This is an acetylated form of the amino acid L-carnitine. Acetyl L-carnitine is able to cross the blood-brain barrier and, once it reaches the brain, is converted to acetyl-CoA, which binds with already present choline to become acetylcholine. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter closely linked to many important cognitive functions, such as memory formation, reasoning ability, perceptual data processing, and the ability of neural structures to grow. It also has strong antioxidant properties. It promotes the transport of acetyl groups and fatty acids into the mitochondria for energy production. Therefore, it serves as an energy reservoir for acetyl groups, and both nutrients help improve energy production. Its benefits range from depression and stroke to neuronal protection and enhanced mitochondrial function. Many theories of aging center on the reduced efficiency of mitochondria, hence its obvious "anti-aging" benefit. ALC also increases brain cell metabolism and has been shown to contribute to improved memory, reaction time, and other cognitive functions.

African Mango: (Mangifera Indica - Irvingia) - Recent studies have shown that individuals given African Mango experienced "significant improvements" in their body weight, body fat, and waist circumference, as well as a number of parameters indicating improved heart health, including total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, blood glucose, C-reactive protein, adiponectin, and leptin levels, without changing their diet or exercise routine. Other studies have shown similar results, with subjects losing weight without making other lifestyle changes. And the good news is that, so far, no adverse side effects have been detected.

Bitter Melon (Momordica Charantia) - A plant that has received immense attention in recent years for its anti-diabetic properties is bitter melon, Momordica charantia (M. charantia). Its fruit is also used to treat diabetes and related conditions among indigenous populations of Asia, South America, India, and East Africa. Preclinical studies have documented abundant anti-diabetic and hypoglycemic effects of M. charantia through various mechanisms.

Wild yam: This is the common name given to the vine of the Dioscorea villosa species, native to Asia and North and Central America. The rhizome of this plant is used to produce dietary supplements due to the medicinal properties attributed to this substrate. The main bioactive agent in this extract is diosgenin, a steroidal saponin with a structure similar to female sex hormones, mimicking their effect in the body. DHEA can be converted to dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). DHEA helps reduce abdominal fat and improve insulin resistance. Other studies suggest that DHEA helps reduce inflammation in the arteries. Many studies point to the benefits of DHEA in treating overweight individuals, helping to reduce weight, total body fat, and LDL cholesterol.

Chromium picolinate: Supports carbohydrate metabolism and fat control. L-Taurine: Taurine is one of the most abundant free amino acids in the body. It is crucial for metabolism and is present in particularly high levels in the brain, skeletal muscle, heart, and retina.

Green tea: Green tea has been shown to help reduce obesity when consumed daily. The anti-obesity effect of green tea has been linked to its caffeine and catechin content, particularly epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG). A number of studies have explored the effects of green tea on overweight and obesity. Many human epidemiological studies have demonstrated the beneficial effects of green tea and its catechins in weight management. Green tea has been shown to significantly reduce body mass index (BMI), body weight, and body fat by increasing postprandial thermogenesis and fat oxidation. Furthermore, it has also been shown to reduce blood cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose, and insulin levels.

Iodine: Iodine is a structural component of the hormones thyroxine and triiodothyronine. These hormones control metabolism throughout the body. Proper thyroid metabolism depends on optimal dietary iodine levels.
