    S. rebaudiana is generally well tolerated. Nausea and dizziness have been known to occur, although at a rate similar to placebo, and generally resolve after the first week of use.21 S. rebaudiana may theoretically increase lithium levels due to increased diuresis and decreased lithium excretion.29 S. rebaudiana may theoretically have additive effects when taken concomitantly with antidiabetic or antihypertensive medications.29
    U. tomentosa is generally well tolerated. Gastrointestinal effects such as nausea, constipation, and diarrhea have been reported. 30 U. tomentosa may inhibit P450 CYP3A4 enzymes and, therefore, may slow the metabolism of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4. 31 U. tomentosa should be avoided in individuals taking immunosuppressants, as it may interfere with immunosuppressive therapy. 32 U. tomentosa may have additive effects with anticoagulants, generally attributed to rhynchophylline TOA,33 as well as additive effects with antihypertensive medications, generally attributed to rhynchophylline and isorhynchophylline TOAs. 34,35 As a reminder, Samento is TOA-free, with trace or undetectable levels.

  • Dosage and administration
    For occasional support, take the glucose metabolic support supplement 30 minutes before meals. For moderate support, take 30 drops twice daily. For maximum support, take 60 drops twice daily. Dosage may also be directed by your healthcare professional. If you are taking glucose-lowering medication, consult your doctor before taking this product.

    How to UseKeep the bottle tightly closed in a dry place at room temperature between 59 and 86 F (15-30 C). Shake well before use. Using the liquid dropper, add the drops to a 4-ounce glass of water (not distilled or reverse osmosis). The water should not be hot. Let the drops sit in the water for at least one minute before drinking. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Discontinue use if adverse reactions develop. Keep out of reach of children.
