The inhalation of chlorine vapors (and other chemicals) is one of the possible causes of bronchitis and asthma, and contact with the skin can cause eczema and other skin irritations; it greatly assists in the treatment of atopic dermatitis.

Heat and water vapor open the pores, leading to a high absorption rate of chlorine and other chemicals through the skin (our largest absorbent organ).

The steam from a hot shower can contain up to 20 times the chlorine concentration of tap water.

The chlorine and trihalomethanes that we absorb during our showers considerably damage our skin, hair, and intestinal flora.

The shower filter protects our skin and helps improve conditions such as dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, etc.
