Can I take Bio-Kult long term?


Yes, the Bio-Kult line can be taken long-term; however, some people may use live bacteria supplements at key times in their life, for example, alongside antibiotics, during travel, stressful periods, or at other times as desired.


Should I take Bio-Kult daily?


The presence of live bacteria from supplements in the gastrointestinal tract is generally transient in nature. It is not believed that live bacteria from supplements permanently colonize the gastrointestinal tract. In light of this, all Bio-Kult research involves daily supplementation.

    Each capsule contains: 2 billion live bacterial microorganisms per capsule (2 x 10^9 CFU). Ingredients: Bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose), live bacterial culture strains (milk, soy), vegetable capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose).   • Warnings
    This product is suitable for use during pregnancy. However, if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, are taking any medications, or have any medical condition, consult your doctor before taking any dietary supplement.
  • Dosage and administration
    Adults and children 12 years and over: Take up to 4 capsules daily, with food.

    Children 3-11 years: Give 1-2 capsules daily, with food.

    When taking antibiotics or travelling: Take 4 capsules daily. Continue for 2 weeks after your course of antibiotics finishes and 1 week after returning from travel.

    Swallow the capsules whole or sprinkle onto cool food or drink.
