NPro Enzimkids is a supplement for children aged 4 and over, formulated to support digestion and suitable for low-FODMAP diets.

It combines 12 digestive enzymes of fungal origin with pineapple powder, including prolyl-oligopeptidase, for the digestion of proline-rich peptides (gluten and casein); alpha-galactosidase, with proven efficacy in reducing gas-related symptoms in children; lactase, among other enzymes that help in the digestion of FODMAPs; and phytase, which promotes mineral absorption.

Digestion requires specific enzymes to break down food into absorbable nutrients.

In childhood, digestive immaturity and enzymatic deficiencies can prevent the body from fully digesting food before it reaches the intestine. This can promote fermentation, nutrient malabsorption, and the emergence of food intolerances and sensitivities, which are common in this age group.

Insufficient enzymatic capacity can manifest as functional digestive symptoms related to food, such as bloating, gas, post-prandial abdominal pain, and changes in bowel movements.
