Cystiplus 60caps - Salengei
Cystiplus from Salengei is a food supplement based on cranberry (Pacran™, Juniper, Lactobacillus reuteri (Limosilactobacillus reuteri) and vitamin A, which contributes to the normal maintenance of mucous membranes.
Contains 140 mg of PAC (proanthocyanidins) from cranberries.
Thanks to its ingredients of natural origin, Cystiplus® provides maximum prevention through its triple-action formula, with an efficient concentration that acts synergistically.
Key Active Ingredients of Cystiplus®:
-
Cranberry (Pacran™)
Vaccinium macrocarpon Aiton
Unlike other extracts focused exclusively on A-type proanthocyanidin content, Pacran™ preserves the complete fruit matrix by providing other phenolic compounds and metabolites, as well as soluble dietary fiber, creating a broad-spectrum synergistic effect,
demonstrating its ability to reduce the urinary load of E. coli (the main causative agent of UTIs) by inhibiting bacterial adhesion to the cells of the urinary
tract.
Pacran™ has demonstrated its efficacy in several clinical studies in reducing the recurrence of urinary tract infections (UTIs), prolonging the time until the first episode of urinary infection, and decreasing the average number of infections.
-
Vitamin A
This fat-soluble vitamin plays relevant roles in the immune system:
– Maintenance of epithelial and mucosal barriers. Good epithelial integrity is the first line of defense against the entry of pathogens.
– Participates in the function of macrophages and phagocytic cells:
– Modulates the production of cytokines (immune
messengers) that help coordinate the response against
infections.
– Promotes antibody responses,
especially in T-cell dependent antigens.
-
Lactobacillus reuteri
Lactobacillus reuteri (Limosilactobacillus reuteri) is a promising and safe option to improve the urogenital microbiota and prevent recurrent urinary infections.
-
D-mannose
It is believed that the mechanism of action in this type of infection is due to the fact that many uropathogenic strains of E. coli use the FimH adhesin (on type 1 pili) to bind to mannosylated structures of urothelial cells present in the urethra and bladder.
