Espinheiro alvar – vários estudos apontam para a utilização do Espinheiro alvar na insuficiência cardíaca leve. Esta planta funciona como tónico cardíaco e antiarrítmico, porque produz um aumento da força da contração cardíaca e uma diminuição da excitabilidade cardíaca. O Espinheiro alvar também previne o enfarte do miocárdio e a recuperação do coração depois do enfarte. Permite uma maior eficiência na dilatação das artérias coronárias aumentando assim, o fluxo de sangue (nutrientes e oxigénio), melhorando situações como a angina do peito e a hipertensão. Tem um efeito positivo ao nível de todos os vasos sanguíneos, aumentando a sua resistência e prevenindo a aterosclerose, devido ao elevado poder antioxidante dos seus flavonóides;

High blood pressure is a condition that can be caused by stress, an unbalanced diet (high in salt and fat), or clogged arteries. High blood pressure can lead to other complications, such as strokes and heart disease.
Tensiomar by Marnys® combines the action of Hawthorn, Olive and Garlic oils, components with a known effect on the circulatory system, promoting the normalization of blood pressure and helping to reduce several risk factors for cardiovascular diseases:
Hawthorn – Several studies point to the use of hawthorn in mild heart failure. This plant acts as a cardiac tonic and antiarrhythmic, increasing the strength of cardiac contractions and decreasing cardiac excitability. Hawthorn also prevents myocardial infarction and aids cardiac recovery after a heart attack. It allows for more efficient dilation of the coronary arteries, thus increasing blood flow (nutrients and oxygen), improving conditions such as angina pectoris and hypertension. It has a positive effect on all blood vessels, increasing their resistance and preventing atherosclerosis, due to the high antioxidant power of its flavonoids.
Olive oil – contains phenolic components (oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol) that inhibit the production of isoprostanes (a biochemical marker of LDL cholesterol oxidation), preventing the formation of atheromatous plaques.
