One pearl contains approximately 90% omega-3 , of which more than 85% is DHA.

Taking 2-3 pearls per week would cover the nutritional needs of omega-3 established by the WHO.

On the other hand, European authorities have established that pregnant women can take up to 1000 mg/day.

If the dose is increased, we will reach a supranutritional dose (more than 1 gram of omega-3). In this case, in addition to covering nutritional needs, the additional amount provided could provide additional health benefits that would not be achieved with lower doses.

DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function (according to EFSA*).

DHA accounts for 30-35% of the brain's unsaturated fat, providing a key nutrient for brain building during pregnancy and early life.

It turns out that, situations in which DHA deficits (e.g., multiple pregnancies, premature or adopted children) are common, they often appear associated with future problems in learning, behavior, psychomotor skills, etc. at school age.
"The fetus depends entirely on the DHA it receives from the mother during pregnancy for optimal brain and visual development"

What are the benefits of DHA?

It's undoubtedly crucial for supporting concentration and memory in childhood and adulthood. Taking it regularly supports cognitive function, improves attention quality and processing speed, and helps regulate mood.

• Contributes to the maintenance of normal visual function (according to the EFSA*). More than 50% of the fat in the macula** is DHA. Therefore, it is a fundamental nutrient in the visual development of children, as well as supporting various visual changes in adulthood.

• Given its abundance of sperm, it is very important for male fertility , as an effective supply undoubtedly contributes to strengthening sperm structure. This aspect is of great relevance considering that more than 50% of infertility problems in couples are due to men.

• At a cardiovascular level, according to AESA*, it contributes to maintaining normal triglyceride levels (daily dose of 2 g) and normal blood pressure (daily dose of 3 g together with EPA).

**Macula: central area of the retina responsible for clear and defined vision.
