Getting caught up in the miraculous detox juice trend is easy; sometimes it's hard to get out of it feeling truly detoxed and healthy. Confused? We'll explain! Unlike trendy detoxes, detoxification is something real that the body does naturally and every day. Detoxification is a natural mechanism of our body. What we need to do is support this natural process that already exists within us, in our precious body. Not only the liver—the detoxifying organ we usually talk about and which has several detoxification phases within itself—but also the kidneys, intestines, skin, lymph, and lungs. All of these are part of the human body's organs that have the function of helping the body detoxify. But for them to fulfill this natural and crucial function for our health, they require several nutrients—from B Complex vitamins to Vitamin C—and not just a simple juice. When, once again, we lack these nutrients in our bodies, our liver detoxification process is compromised.
