Bromelain and papain are obtained exclusively from plant sources – while papain is found in particularly high concentrations in the skin of green papaya, bromelain is extracted mainly from pineapple.

Biogena DoloZym® forte contains not only plant-derived bromelain and papain, but also the important enzymes trypsin and chymotrypsin.
