Retard 45cap - Vitalenzym
Vitalenzym Retard is a formula developed for supportive therapy in cases of vascular pathologies, with Papain, Retin, Bromelain and TrienzyComplex.
Papain
Papain is a phytoenzyme, from the protease family, extracted from the latex of Carica papaya, it belongs to the Caricaceae family and several species of Caricaceae have been used as a treatment for a variety of diseases.
Studies carried out with papaya leaves have shown that they contain several active components such as papain with antioxidant action that reduce levels of lipid peroxidation.
Routine
Flavonoids are a large class of polyphenolic compounds widely distributed in the plant kingdom. These natural compounds are of growing interest as potential therapeutic agents, as they exhibit pharmacological activities with beneficial effects on inflammation, cancer, and cardiovascular disease.
Rutin is a flavonol (subclass), and its anti-inflammatory effect results from the inhibition of key enzymes involved in the inflammatory process and cell signaling pathways, such as cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase, protein kinase C (PKC), and phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI 3-kinase). The inflammatory response consists of increased blood vessel permeability, leading to the migration and activation of polymorphonuclear neutrophils. The antimicrobial function of PMNs is based on their phagocytic capacity and the ability to release proteolytic enzymes and reactive oxygen species (ROS), which play an important role in tissue damage during inflammation.
Bromelain
Bromelain is a protease obtained from pineapple. Bromelain has demonstrated anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, antithrombotic, and fibrinolytic activity in in vitro and in vivo studies.
Bromelain models the functions of adhesion molecules in endothelial and blood cells, regulates the activity of several immune system cells and acts in the production of cytokines.
It acts as an immunomodulator, increasing the immunocytotoxicity of monocytes against tumor cells by inducing the production of distinct cytokines, such as TNF-a, lL-1, lL-6, and lL-82.
Supports oxidative burst and cytotoxicity of granulocytes against tumor cells.
Prevents the formation of edema and reduces existing edema.
Bromelain reduces blood fibrinogen levels and activates plasmin, exhibiting fibrinolytic action. It prevents platelet aggregation and prevents platelet adhesion to blood vessel endothelial cells.
Reduces the level of prostaglandin E2 and thromboxane A2 in exudates during acute inflammation.
TrienzyComplex
Enzyme complex with high proteolytic capacity, which acts on inflammatory processes in our body.
A markedly decreased enzyme activity in the human body can manifest itself in a variety of ways. If we look at digestive enzymes, their decrease manifests as gastrointestinal discomfort such as flatulence, bloating, nausea, intestinal cramps, diarrhea, and even constipation. Undigested nutrients cannot cross the barrier between the intestine and blood vessels and are therefore not bioavailable for metabolic processes in specialized tissues and organs of the body. A chronic deficiency of digestive enzymes can result in progressive nutrient depletion, loss of lean body mass, and, paradoxically, increased body weight due to fat accumulation. This often imperceptible process of nutrient deficiency can eventually lead to a complete pathology, including chronic degenerative and inflammatory diseases and neoplastic disease. In health, certain enzymes, especially proteolytic enzymes (which break down proteins), safeguard the body from malignant cells, literally unmasking cancer cells and delivering them to the immune system for destruction and elimination. According to this theory, the cancer cell is surrounded by a layer of protein such as fibrin, which deceives the immune system. However, the proteolytic enzymes present in Vitalenzym's Retard supplement Trienzycomplex are capable of digesting the fibrin layer that normally surrounds these cells, thus allowing them to be detected by the immune system. The same mechanism occurs with deposits that accumulate in blood vessels, hindering blood circulation.
