Ferrasorb contains 36 mg of elemental iron per capsule.

Ferrasorb combines chelated bisglycinate iron, a more easily absorbed form that does not cause constipation, with the active forms of vitamin B6 (pyridoxal 5'-phosphate), vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin), and folate (L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate). Vitamin C has also been added to increase iron absorption.

Iron deficiency can manifest itself through symptoms such as weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath during exertion, dizziness, tinnitus, spots before the eyes, drowsiness, irritability, irregular periods and lack of libido.
