Active Folic Acid is a formula of folic acid in the form of calcium L-methylfolate (the most bioavailable form of folate) along with vitamin B6 (in the form of pyridoxal 5´-phosphate) and vitamin B12 (in the form of methylcobalamin).

Healthy claims (EU Regulation No. 432/2012): Folates contribute to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy and to the normal synthesis of amino acids; and together with vitamins B6 and B12 to the normal metabolism of homocysteine , to normal psychological function, to the normal functioning of the immune system and help to reduce tiredness and fatigue.
