Description

Active Omega 3 Immunity 60sft - Salengei

Active Omega 3 Immunity by Salengei is a dietary supplement with Omega-3 EPA (eicosapentaenoic fatty acid), vitamins A, C, D and K, selenium and zinc that contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.

WHAT KIND OF FOODS ARE NEEDED TO MAINTAIN THE IMMUNE SYSTEM?

The best diet to support the immune system is one with a diverse and varied intake of vegetables, fruits, berries, nuts, seeds, grains and legumes, along with some meats, eggs, dairy and oily fish (rich in omega 3) and fermented foods.

Some dietary components, such as vitamin D, omega-3 fatty acids, plant polyphenols, and beta-glucans, can influence the gut microbiota, which, in turn, can also help improve immune status. However, although many nutrients and bioactives are provided as part of a diverse plant-based diet, there are questions about whether they are consumed in sufficient quantities, so supplementation may be necessary.

Active Omega-3 Immunity is a dietary supplement that contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system. It provides dietary support, providing the nutrients (vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids) necessary for normal immune system function when diet or sun exposure (natural vitamin D production) are insufficient.

MAIN ASSETS OF ACTIVE IMMUNITY OMEGA 3:

1. Fish Oil (VIVO MEGA™) - VivoMega™ is a purified, premium omega-3 fish oil. A high-EPA, triglyceride-based (TG) concentrate made from fish oil. The specification is a product with a minimum of 90% TG with 2.5 to 5.0 mg/g of added mixed tocopherols. The mixed tocopherol (E306) is of non-GMO quality and identity preserved.

2. EPA - an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to heart function. Omega-3s are essential for the body and are obtained through diet, mainly from oily fish, nuts, and seeds. On the other hand, EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) participates in the modulation of the immune response, helping to reduce inflammation and anatomical-functional damage, demonstrating its anti-inflammatory effect.

3. Vitamin D3 - plays an important role in bone metabolism and has anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties. Vitamin D3 can be obtained through sun exposure (90%) and diet (10%). However, its synthesis through the skin is not sufficient to reach optimal levels for improving our health. Vitamin D contributes to normal functioning of the immune system, the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, the maintenance of normal levels of calcium in the blood, the maintenance of bones in normal conditions, among others.

4. Omega-3s - These are a type of essential fatty acid that cannot be synthesized by the body and, therefore, must be incorporated through the diet. To meet the daily requirements of this nutrient, it is often necessary to resort to dietary supplements, especially during periods when these needs increase, such as pregnancy. Long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (EPA and DHA) are produced primarily from marine microalgae before entering the fish food chain. DHA has anti-inflammatory properties and plays an important role in brain and vision development. EPA, on the other hand, is an omega-3 precursor of anti-inflammatory substances and is especially important for the cardiovascular system, but can also be effective in musculoskeletal, joint, and dermatological health, among others.

5. Vitamin C - acts as a cofactor for numerous enzymes involved in the biosynthesis of collagen, carnitine, and some neurotransmitters, and can capture a wide variety of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species in aqueous media. Vitamin C is considered essential because it cannot be synthesized by humans. Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, normal functioning of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise, normal collagen formation for the normal functioning of blood vessels, among other things.

6. Vitamin A - contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, normal iron metabolism, maintenance of normal mucous membranes, maintenance of normal skin, maintenance of normal vision and the process of cell differentiation.

7. Selenium - Helps your body produce special proteins called antioxidant enzymes. These help prevent cellular damage. It also contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, normal spermatogenesis, the maintenance of normal hair and nails, normal thyroid function, and the protection of cells against oxidative damage.
