ALLIMED® 100 capsule pack provides a monthly supply of stabilized allicifin.

When fresh garlic is cut or crushed, an amino acid, allicin, combines with an enzyme, alliinase, and a chemical reaction begins. The first compound to be formed is allicin. Allicin, generated from fresh garlic, is transformed into a series of other sulfur compounds known as thiosulfinates. Allicin is described as the "mother" substance of garlic, responsible for most of its remarkable properties.

What is alicilin?

When fresh garlic is cut or crushed, an amino acid, allicin, combines with an enzyme, alliinase, and a chemical reaction begins. The first compound to be formed is allicin. Allicin, generated from fresh garlic, is transformed into a series of other sulfur compounds known as thiosulfinates. Allicin is described as the "mother" substance of garlic, responsible for most of its remarkable properties.

Commonly used as a natural alternative to antibiotics for viral and bacterial infections such as colds and flu and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth.

The ALIMED ® line was designed by Allicin for healthcare professionals.

How does this supplement differ from other garlic supplements?

Most other garlic supplements don't contain allicin. They rely on your body being able to generate this active compound after swallowing the pill or capsule. Garlic oil supplements are produced by distilling fresh garlic, then diluting the resulting oil and placing it in a capsule. This destroys most, if not all, of the available allicin. Some garlic powder supplements may generate some allicin, but this depends on the prevailing stomach conditions and can take several hours to convert to allicin.

AlliMed® doesn't need to wait for conversion, as it's actually allicin. When AlliMed® enters your stomach, it dissolves to facilitate absorption into the bloodstream and breaks down to form allicin derivatives. Allicin thrives in the acidic environment of your stomach, unlike other supplements, which can be inactivated by acidic conditions.
