NPRO Glutamine provides glutamine, an anti-inflammatory amino acid of fermentative, 100% plant-based origin with the Kyowa Quality® seal, which has high intestinal absorption. NPRO Glutamine also contains vitamin C which, in small doses, favours the bioavailability of glutamine.

Glutamine is a non-essential amino acid, as it can be synthesised by the body, being formed and stored mainly in skeletal muscle and the lungs. Furthermore, it is the most abundant free amino acid in the bloodstream. It is the main metabolic fuel for small intestine enterocytes, lymphocytes, macrophages, and fibroblasts. Stress, disease states and infections, intense physical exercise, but also inadequate diets, are some of the factors that can cause a glutamine deficiency, which weakens the functioning of important body systems.
