Ginkgo biloba is a plant used in Traditional Chinese Medicine since the last century BC, with fan-shaped leaves and a long stalk, sometimes a cut in the middle divides the leaves into two parts (lobes), a characteristic that gave rise to its scientific name “biloba”.
