Description
Our organic Triphala is a powerful formula obtained from the combination, in equal parts, of the fruits of Phyllanthus Emblica (Amalaki), Terminalia bellirica (Bibhitaki), and Terminalia chebula (Haritaki). When these three fruits combine, the formula becomes a wonderful Rasayana, which rejuvenates the entire body. Phyllanthus emblica supports digestion and the health and maintenance of intestinal function. Terminalia bellirica supports digestion and elimination. Terminalia chebula helps balance and maintain regular elimination.

Triphala is a tridoshic compound, as it pacifies Kapha, Pitta, and partially Vata. There are few herbs in Ayurveda that include all five distinct tastes (sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and pungent). The more concentrated the flavor, the more comprehensive and effective the formula for balancing the three doshas.
It is also known by the names Phalatrik or Vara (blessing) and Sreshtha (the best). It is a blessing in its true essence, as it is believed to care for the internal organs in the same way a mother cares for her children.
