The R&D (Research and Development) company Biogal - Biologia de Portugal and O3oxymed have developed a pioneering process in Portugal that binds ozone to the fatty acid tails of the glycerides of various edible oils and molecularly encapsulates this complex using beta-cyclodextrin. This process allows for oral administration and transit through the stomach, where it is released into the duodenum at the level of the small intestine, following the lymphatic pathway, and subsequently distributed to the tissue and cellular levels. This neutralizes ozone instability, an essential requirement for effective physiological activity.
