Selenium is a mineral that constitutes two important enzymes for protection against oxidative damage: glutathione peroxidase and thioredoxin reductase. Glutathione participates in liver detoxification processes, neutralizing free radicals resulting from associated metabolic reactions.

It contributes to the normal functioning of the Immune System and participates in the normal functioning of the thyroid.


Symptoms of tiredness and fatigue, when associated with thyroid hypofunction, can be improved by ensuring the presence of adequate levels of selenium in the body, among other nutrients.


It is present in foods such as Brazil nuts, seaweed, wheat germ, seafood and vegetables such as garlic, broccoli or even mushrooms, the amount of which depends on the composition of the soil where they are grown.

    Per recommended dose:
    - Selenium - as L-Selenomethionine (100 mcg).

    Other Ingredients: Cellulose; Stearic acid (vegetable source) and magnesium stearate (vegetable source).
    Does not contain: Sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, egg, milk, seafood or preservatives.
  • Warnings
    - Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
    - Keep out of reach and sight of children.
    - Do not exceed the recommended dosages.
    - Keep in a cool, dry place, away from light, heat, and moisture. If pregnant or breastfeeding, ingestion should be done under medical supervision.
