UR Urinary 60caps - Eubage
Eubage's Urinary UR helps reduce recurrent and painful urination by creating an unfavorable environment for pathogenic microorganisms, thus preventing urinary infections.
Depending on their location, there are three types of urinary tract infections:
Cystitis: inflammation of the bladder walls. This condition is almost exclusive to women. Most often, the inflammation is caused by the proliferation of intestinal bacteria such as Escherichia coli. Cystitis is usually accompanied by urethritis, or inflammation of the urethra.
Urethritis: inflammation typically triggered by a sexually transmitted infection or resulting from cystitis. The incidence varies between the sexes, with women being more prone to this condition. Several infectious agents can induce urethritis, the most common being gonococcus, which causes gonorrhea, but chlamydia and other sexually transmitted agents can also trigger urethritis.
Pyelonephritis: inflammation of the pelvic floor and kidney. Usually results from a bacterial infection. Acute pyelonephritis is more common in women, especially pregnant women. It can be a complication of untreated or poorly resolved cystitis, resulting in the transposition or proliferation of the infectious agent from the bladder to the kidneys.
The proanthocyanidins in red cranberries (Vaccinium macrocarpon) help reduce the adhesion of Escherichia coli bacteria to the urinary tract walls. They prevent some urinary tract infections by acidifying the urine.
The flavonoids in grapefruit (Citrus paradisi), due to their broad-spectrum antibiotic capacity, create a harmful layer against microorganisms. Mutagenic microorganisms do not exhibit any type of resistance to these natural antibiotic substances. A synthetic antibiotic targets a well-defined spectrum, whereas grapefruit extract is active against various types of infections, regardless of the infectious agent responsible.
Polyphenols, especially gossypetin, from hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa), contribute to biological processes that limit the migration of pathogenic microorganisms. They protect against urinary tract infections and prevent the formation of kidney stones. Gossypetin (a flavonoid) prevents the adhesion of microorganisms such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus s., and Bacillus p., with the same efficacy as chloramphenicol, a broad-spectrum antibiotic.
The flavonoids and tannins in heather (Erica cinerea) are excellent diuretics, especially for urinary inflammation. Their action promotes urination, thus eliminating toxins. They protect the walls of the urinary tract. Their anti-inflammatory action specifically targets the bladder walls and the prostate.
Berberine from goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) is an alkaloid of the isoquinoline class that develops metabolic functions that create a detrimental environment for the adhesion of pathogenic microorganisms, especially Candida albicans, which typically appears after antibiotic treatment. Due to its recognized antifungal action, it inhibits the adhesion of various pathogenic microorganisms, such as bacteria, protozoa, and fungi, responsible for numerous human infections, such as those caused by Staphylococcus, Escherichia coli, Chlamydia trachomatis, Salmonella, Pneumococcus, Pseudomonas, etc.
