Hawa Normacol 60cap - Hawa Pharma

HAWA NORMACOL - Natural formula for balancing lipids in the body.

Theobroma cacao (cocoa) intake increases HDL (high-density lipoprotein) levels through the activity of apoA-1, CETP, and PLTP, consequently removing cholesterol from macrophages. Experiments in rodents fed an excessively high-cholesterol diet demonstrated that Theobroma cacao significantly reduces hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia through a process of inhibition of intestinal absorption by procyanidins, a capacity dependent on their degree of polymerization. Research also suggests that the hyperlipidemia- and atherosclerosis-reducing effects of Theobroma cacao may be related to the suppression of stress in the hepatic endoplasmic reticulum. Procyanidins, as mentioned previously, are highly effective in reducing cholesterol and triglycerides and are highly safe. However, paradoxically, a study conducted in rodents suggests that procyanidins administered during pregnancy and lactation may be associated with a higher incidence of atherogenic risk in the offspring of adult animals. Although this evidence is difficult to translate to human reality, we believe that the use of Hawa Normacol should be prohibited in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
