Properties and benefits of Femelle

Bacterial vaginitis, vaginosis, urethritis, cystitis, etc. are pathologies in which there is a decrease in the protective microorganisms mentioned above of the Döderlein flora. The bacterial population of the urogenital tract can be considered a reduced copy of the intestinal bacterial population, which protects this organism.

Its composition of L. jenseni is capable of inhibiting the growth (and decreasing the vitality) of some E. coli strains involved in recurrent cystitis and also inhibiting their entry into epithelial cells. L. plantarum secretes pediokines (Ach, Lb-b1), antimicrobial or bacterial peptides useful in combating pathogens such as E. coli and C. albicans. L. rhamnosus secretes lactocin 160, which acts by combating the most important pathogens associated with bacterial vaginosis (G. vaginalis and P. bivia), acting on the cytoplasmic membrane and causing the release of ATP molecules from the cells and dissipation of the proton motive force.
