Designs for Health 's CoQnol 200 is an innovative combination of two important compounds: ubiquinol, also known as coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), and geranylgeraniol (GG). CoQnol™ 100 provides 100 mg of ubiquinol per serving, and CoQnol™ 200 provides 200 mg of ubiquinol per serving, with optimal amounts of GG in each. CoQnol™ is unique compared to conventional CoQ10 supplements, which typically do not include GG. The combination of ubiquinol and GG serves two purposes: to promote the absorption and bioavailability of supplemental CoQ10 and to support the natural production of CoQ10 synthesis.

CoQ10 is present in two forms in the body: ubiquinone and ubiquinol. The name derives from the word "ubiquitous" because CoQ10 is present throughout the human body. Unfortunately, CoQ10 production can naturally decline with age or due to certain medications. The ubiquinol form can participate in more cellular reactions than ubiquinone and is the preferred supplemental form of CoQ10.
